Practice makes Perfect! ;)
I was drawing a picture of my friends daughter last night (see it here) and I realized something; practice really does make perfect. Each day that I draw a picture for the Daily Sketch post, it seems to become easier and easier to utilize certain drawing techniques. It is as if my brain and hand move together in sync without much effort. Though I have not reached the “level” that I would like to be at, I can see myself moving toward it.
This principle of “practice” can be applied to many other aspects of our daily lives. We all have things that we would like to be better at. Whether it be something personal or work related, we still aspire to be great at it. Well my friend, I am here to tell you that this is definitely possible! The important thing is to practice doing the one thing that you aspire to be great at, and in time you will be great at it. We learn from our mistakes, so, if you make a mistake, learn and keep moving forward.
Remember, Practice makes Perfect!
