“Stop Slacking…”
LOL. One of my friends sent me an email “reminder” with the subject heading “Stop Slacking”, and all I could do was smile ;).
I am sorry that I have not posted a journal entry/update in SUCH a LONG time, BUT I have been keeping busy drawing. MAN, the first piece is coming along so well! I will be finishing up the last portion of it today. It has taken me a little over a month, but I am VERY pleased with the results. My family has looked over it and they are very impressed.
Many people have asked for a “sneak peek” at it, but you will all have to wait until the BIG SHOW in July. However, for those that read “The Journey”, I will let you in on a little secret…Come close…a little closer
The title of the piece is “2 Corinthians 1:3-7″. Now, I am interested in hearing what YOU all think that the piece is composed of. Please let me know.
It has really been challenging to get up early and sometimes stay up late to work on the piece, but the hard work paid off.Other than working on the piece, I have taken out a little time here and there to spend with my family and friends. I have also been staying very busy with the Youth Department at my church. I really love the youth and I am determined to provide them with programs and spiritual growth activities in the year 2007.
Keep me in your prayers and bear with me (i.e. the updating to the blog) as I balance the many things in my life.
Stay Diligent, Stay Faithful, and Stay Beautiful!
I’ts cool….we just have to remember that you are working for God, not for us. In due time we will see your work….keep God first.
Feels pretty nice to be able to put a REAL website link in the box :). Not on your level, but right behind ya ;). Anyway, I have to say that your drawings have really been coming along nicely…..in fact they’re HOT!!! (well, the one’s i saw). Guess i can consier myself one of the lucky one’s to get constant sneak peeks of your artwork……or I just go over your house too often lol. God’s leading homie! I can tell by your ever-growing progress. Keep it going, and you’ll always be in my prayers.
